Leah has joined the Pyros, a group of warriors with astonishing powers, who fight the fiends who wiped out most of life on earth. But their worst enemy is one of their own.
Jared, the sadistic scientist who betrayed the Pyros, has captured Leah's ally, Cas. To get him back, she must leave her new friends and face the wilderness alone. But Jared’s not the only threat out there. The fiends are moving, forces stir on the other side of the divide, and if Jared’s plan succeeds, it’ll spell disaster for their world.
And that’s if the dark transformation in Leah's blood doesn’t kill her first.

Ablaze Indestructible Trilogy Book 2 eBook Emma L Adams Reviews
I really got into this book and enjoyed every chapter. Hope whoever reads it now will enjoy it as I did
Really enjoyed this story. The heroine is really one wickedly bad lady. Great plot, characters, suspense and action in this story.
Ok book, but wouldn't read it again. I was left confused as to what was going on a lot of the time and did a fair amount of rereading to figure out what was going on.
In the 1st book, everything happened fairly quickly. Now that Leah is what she is, the 2nd book does move rather slowly (for about the first 1/3 of book) but, because book 1 was so good, I hung in there. I'm glad I did because book 2 heightens the characters, the intrigue and the overall plot! On to Book 3 I go.
First off, I received a copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book, the depth of the characters is amazing, I've seldom read a book with such well defined characters. The plot is just as well developed and I honestly can't think of anything that I d wish would have been different.
The action scenes are great, just enough description to be realistic (okay, fantasy realistic) and not so gory that I'd stop reading.
I'd recommend this without any reservations. Emma L. Adams has written an amazing book again.
I would like to thank Author Emma Adams for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
When I saw Emma was asking reviews for this book I couldn't wait to dive back into this series after the heart pounding fast pace of the first book, I was dying to fall back into the is dystopian world and find out what had happened to Leah, Cas and the others.
This starts a few days after the last book ended and Leah is struggling to get to grips with everything she learned about herself and Earth in the first book. Then she realises Cas has been captured by the evil Jared.
There are so many twist and turns in this book that I read it in two sittings (work got in the way of it being one sitting). I just had to find out what happened, this is fast paced right from the very first chapter. Although at times I did feel a sense of Deja Vu and felt some of the scenes could have been cut.
A brilliant second book in the series and again Emma blindsided me with parts of the plot that would sneak up with a bang.
After reading the first book in the series and enjoying it, I was looking forward to diving into this one. I was not disappointed. This book takes off there where the last one left off--in other words, this one works best if read as a series and not a stand alone.
Leah is coming to terms with her identity. Still, she has only begun to understand what she is and what she is capable of. Her head-strong and impulsive nature has her running head long into trouble and danger as she tries to save what she holds dear. Her lack of planning might get a little frustrating, but her will to act when others take a safer route makes her endearing. She's easy to root for all the way through.
The author does a great job of mixing fast-paced action with the needed amount of character depth. Although there's never a boring moment and danger abounds, Leah's thoughts and emotions come through bright and clear. Her fears and desires are understandable and fit very well with her hopes and troubled past. She maintains a certain distance to those around her, but even this comes across natural and doesn't make the other characters any less interesting. There is the constant hint at a possible romance, but it always dangles millimeters out of reach keeping the tension high in that sense as well.
With monsters around every corner, in every variation and constant change, it's impossible to know what Leah will stand up against next. The troubles mount constantly, and the challenges she faces only grow more deadly. Still, the author's descriptions and well played out scenes keep the entire monster-strudel from becoming complete mishmash mess. There's not much time to blink when things really get going.
Summed up This is a story for true action fans. Fight scenes abound, there's never a moment where danger doesn't lurk in every corner, and creatures which stretch the bounds of fantasy run freely. In other words, I can't wait to get my hands on book 3.
